On occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory of Khalkh River Battle, cultural days of Russia will run August 25-30 in Erdenet city, Orkhon aimag. The events run in frames of the cooperation program in 2009-2011 between the Ministries of Culture of Mongolia and Russia.
Concert will be given with participation of the choir orchestra of the State Academic Theatre of Russian Folk Art named after M.Pyatnitskii. In addition, artistic group of Russia including 70 artists such as State Honored Artists of Russia Alexander Nikerov and Vyacheslav Moyunov; Karina Serbina, solo singer of the Moscow Academic Theatre; Stepan Mezentsev, a famous violinist, will give their concert. B.Amarkhuu, a member of "Prime Minister" group will sing songs as well.
Mongolia-Russian joint cultural and artistic events will take place in the Central Cultural Palace in Ulaanbaatar city. Apart of the concert, a photo exhibition will be mounted in the Fine Art Gallery. Furthermore, the "Orgoo" cinema will screen films showing development of cinematic art of Russia.
