On Thursday, an international scientific conference themed "Technology of Information and Communication-2009" began in the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. This conference is being attended by delegates and scholars of 10 universities and institutes of Mongolia, Russia, Japan, Germany, India, Chinese Taipei and the Republic of Korea.
The attendees are discussing issues on TV development based on Internet, way of transferring to TV technologies and networks based on Internet protocol, technique, technologies and theory-practical urgent problems, new achievements of research works and technological process.
Experts consider that when TV technology and network based on Internet Protocol are introduced, Mongolia will have possibilities to transfer TV programs into digital system with several stages, to create infrastructure and network of TV programs based on Internet and to determine strategy and measure of policy and regulation.
The two-day conference is sponsored by the "Mobicom" corporation.
