B.SER-OD WINS BRONZE AT HONG KONG MARATHON

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ International master of sports and long distant runner B.Ser-Od won a bronze medal in the Hong Kong marathon held last Sunday in Hong Kong, China. He finished the way of 42 km within two hours, 23 minutes and two seconds and received a cash prize of USD 8,000. The runner of the Summer Olympic Games of 2004 and 2008 followed Kenya's Cyprian Kiogora Mwobi (two hours 20 minutes and 12 seconds) and his country fellow Tubei John Chirchir. One of the international marathon competitions of the IAAF brought together a total of 55 thousand and 600 athletes. The winner is awarded with cash prize of 18 thousand dollars. Mongolia's athletes will compete in international marathon to take place next week in China. B.Khuder
