Tsaatan people live the taiga and forest steppe retaining their ancestral culture based on humanistic rituals and nomadic reindeer herding. They move during all seasons in the taiga to follow their reindeer’s feed’s of pasture. Tsaatan people became mongolized from Tuva descent. They had been herding reideer since early times why they are called Tsaatan.

Day 1 Ulaanbaatar

Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.

Day 2 Murun and Huvsgul Lake

Will pick up from the hotel. Then, will have a 1.2 hrs flight /Mon, Wed, Fri/ to Murun administrative center of Khuvsgul province, which situates in northern part of Mongolia. Lunch. Then, we will drive to Khuvsgul National Park /150 km/ for exploration of Khuvsgul lake and great Siberian Taiga, which consists from larch, aspen and birch. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 3 Visit Reindeer Herder Family

After breakfast, we will explore the fascinating and unique spot Khuvsgul lake – biggest and deepest /262 m/ fresh water lake. The exploration can be made by horse riding to Rein deers herder Family. Lunch, We will see reindeers, If you possible, you will ride reindeer. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 4 Family with Shamanism

In the morning we will continue to explore local area. There are good possibilities for Shamanism Family (Boo or Udgan). After dinner we will ride back to Huvsgul Lake overnight in tourist camp.

Day 5 Boat by Huvsgul Lake & Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast we will boat around Huvsgul Lake. Lunch. We will drive back to Murun city. Then, will have a flight to ULN and transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Departure

After breakfast, will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.
